The Cobourg Police Service would like to remind drivers that road conditions can change quickly in the winter. A mild day can result in snow/ice melting that may re-freeze in the evening hours causing slippery roads.  Always leave plenty of stopping distance between you and the vehicle ahead.  Give yourself extra time to get to your destination so that a hurried driving decision doesn't cause a collision.
