On Tuesday the 29th of December 2015 at 4:04 pm, the Cobourg Police Service received a report from a citizen that his motor vehicle had just been stolen from a residence located in the west end of Cobourg.  The citizen observed his motor vehicle travelling eastbound on a street in Cobourg when he called the Police; the motor vehicle was located shortly thereafter.

A suspect male who had stolen the motor vehicle was last seen running northwest off of William Street towards the mall.  Cobourg Police Officers attended the area, searched and arrested the suspect at a commercial business location without further incident.  The accused male is identified as:

28 year old Christian DOXTATOR of Barrie Ontario, the accused is charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Fail to Comply with Recognizance.

The accused is held for Bail Hearing scheduled at 9:30 am 30 December 2015.
