National Prescription drug take back day May 9th Northumberland Mall

On Saturday May the 9th 2015 the  Ontario Provincial Police and the Cobourg Police Service will partner together for National Prescription drug take back day at the Northumberland Mall.

On National Prescription Drug take back day, your police services encourage you to go through your unused prescription drugs and bring them in to be disposed of.

Deaths related to prescription opioid use doubled in just over 10 years in Ontario, from 13.7 deaths per million people in 1991 to 27.2 deaths per million people in 2004 (Dhalla, et al., 2009).

Simply bring your unused prescription drugs into the Northumberland Mall centre court  between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm and hand them over to an officer to be disposed of. The Northumberland Mall is located at 1111 Elgin Street in the Town of Cobourg.

Let's work together to help keep our communities the safe places they are.
