Two more men arrested in connection with a robbery/home invasion
Police have arrested two more men in connection with a robbery/home invasion that was reported earlier this month. Port Hope Police Criminal Investigations Unit along with Cobourg Police CIB members arrested a 22 year old Whitby man on the 23rd of July 2015. Later that day a 20 year old Little Britain man turned himself into Port Hope Police. They also face charges in connection with three other robberies that were not reported to police at the time. These were alleged to have occurred on the 18th of July 2015 and two in 2014 between July and October.
Over 40 charges have been laid against 4 males. 21 Year old Tyler McBRIDE and 19 Year old Judge Noble James BOUDREAU both from Cobourg were arrested earlier this week.
22 year old Michael DARNBROUGH of Whitby and 21 year old Matthew PIDGEON-WALLACE of Little Britain are both charged with 4 counts of Robbery, 4 Counts of Break and enter and committing an indictable offence. 1 Count of Wearing a disguise while committing an indictable offence, 1 count of Using a weapon in the commission of an indictable offence, 1 count of aggravated assault and 2 counts each of failing to comply with bail conditions.
All four are currently in custody awaiting bail hearings. Port Hope Police do not expect to make any further arrests in connection with these cases but are continuing the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Port Hope Police Criminal Investigations Unit or Crime Stoppers.
