On 24 Jan 2015 at about 0759 hours, Cobourg Police were contacted by Ambulance personnel after almost being hit by a vehicle.  The ambulance crew followed, but the suspect vehicle made numerous attempts to elude them.

 

911 was called and a patrolling officer located the vehicle on Division St. and attempted to stop the female driver, who refused to stop for emergency lights and siren.

 

The officer was able to pull alongside and motion for the driver to pull over and stop.  The driver continued again without stopping until she eventually pulled into the emergency drive at Northumberland Hills Hospital and was apprehended.

 

As a result of Police investigation, no charges are pending at this time.
