The Cobourg Police Service responded to 43 calls for service between 4:00 a.m. May 7, 2013 through to 4:00 a.m.   on May 10, 2013

Cobourg Police are currently investigating two more residential break, enter and thefts. One home was located on Spencer Street East, the other on James Street East.

The first break in occurred during the daytime on Tuesday, May 7 and the second on Thursday, May 9.

One residence was entered after the culprit smashed a basement window and the other home entry is uncertain as there was no forced entry and the home may have been unlocked.
Items stolen from these recent break ins include an Acer laptop computer, Xbox 360, Kinect system, a Blackberry Bold, a white-gold chain with white-gold butterfly charm and a sterling-silver chain with a butterfly pendant comprised of diamonds.
