On September 30, 2019, at about 8:05 PM, officers of the Cobourg Police Service attended at the Cobourg Marina storage compound. This was in response to a report of a recent entry into the compound, where the barbed wire fencing was cut and entry obtained. Police reviewed closed circuit television (CCTV) video and identified a suspect.
At approximately 10:00 PM, Police officers located and arrested a 22 year old Cobourg resident, Dylan Campbell, and charged him with the following offence;
Break and Enter, commit Mischief contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Campbell was released from custody with a court date in November.
