Date of Run:  Thursday, 2 June 2015

Start Time and Location:  10:00 am, 55 Fox Rd, Port Hope Police Service

The Port Hope Police Service (PHPS) and Cobourg Police Service (CPS) will join together again for this year’s annual Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR).  The Torch Run participants will jog, cycle or walk during the route in the Towns of  Port Hope and Cobourg.

The start location is at 55 Fox Rd in Port Hope where the run will continue through the downtown of Port Hope and end at a location on Peter St.

Torch run participants will then meet at 1111 Elgin St W (Northumberland Mall parking lot by Boston Pizza) in Cobourg.  The run will continue along William St, through downtown Cobourg and along King St E to the Cobourg Collegiate Institute at 335 King Street East.

Torch Run participants will then meet with Special Olympians at Cobourg Collegiate Institute and walk the final portion along King St E to Cottesmore Ave, ending at the Community Living West Northumberland building located at 275 Cottesmore Ave.

The mission of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is to increase awareness and raise funds for the Special Olympics and Olympians.
