1) Male youth arrested for Criminal Harassment and Assault

2) Female youth arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Harm         

3)  Male adult arrested for outstanding Breach of Probation warrant

 

Over the past two days members of the Cobourg Police Service have arrested two young offenders and one male adult for various offences.

 

On Thursday January 22, 2015 Cobourg Police arrested a male young offender for Criminal Harassment and Assault from incidents within a local high school. The victim involved in the incident received no physical injuries. Male youth was released from Police custody with conditions not to associate or communicate with the victim.  Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act the accused male youth cannot be identified.  

 

On Friday January 23, 2015 Cobourg Police arrested a female young offender for Assault Bodily harm from a physical altercation at a local restaurant within the Town of Cobourg. The victim involved in the incident received laceration to the head area. Female youth was released from Police custody with conditions to not associate or communicate with the victim.  Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act the accused male youth cannot be identified. 

  

On Friday January 23, 2015, Cobourg Police attended the Peterborough/Lakefield Police Service and arrested an adult male for outstanding Breach of Probation warrant. Accused male was transported to Cobourg Police Service and held for bail hearing. Accused is awaiting bail hearing on Saturday January 24, 2015.
