On Tuesday the 10 February, 2015 at approximately 9:45 am, Police were called to attend the area of the Cobourg Harbour in regards to a woman who had crossed a barrier and gone out on the ice to feed some waterfowl.


As a result of the subsequent Police investigation, a lone female was spoken to about the dangers of walking out on the ice.

Police would like to remind the public to use extreme caution around the ice in the inner harbour and the icebergs along the shore.
