Cobourg Police were dispatched to investigate an allegation of a male drinking alcohol then leaving the premise driving a motor vehicle. Police stopped the driver and determined him to be in the Warn range resulting in a 3 day license suspension under the Highway Traffic Act. Further investigation revealed the male was in the company of a female he was on  an undertaking to stay away from as a result of a previous Domestic related incident.

As a result, the male was charged criminally with the following offences;

Breach of Undertaking x2 contrary to C.C.C. sec. 145(3)

The male was held for a bail hearing.

The name of the male is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
