From the 27th of March 2017 through the 2nd of April 2017, the Cobourg Police Service responded to 155 occurrences including: 8 Motor Vehicle Collisions, 6 Traffic Complaints, 11 Alarm calls, 4 Harassment calls, 5 Suspicious Persons calls, 7 Domestic/Family Disputes, 3 Neighbor Disputes and 3 Ambulance assistance calls. At 1:41 am, on Saturday, the 25th of March, 2017, an Officer from the Cobourg Police Service conducted a traffic stop with a suspected impaired driver, west of downtown Cobourg.
As a result of the traffic stop and investigation, 27 year old, Cristy HAZAEL of Cobourg was arrested and charged.
The accused female is charged with Impaired Care and Control, as well as, Exceed 80 milligrams of

On the 18th of November, 2016, officers of the Cobourg Police Service attended a business in the west end of Cobourg, for a report of a Theft. It was reported that a male had entered the store (during business hours), stole an article from the store and then departed in an unknown direction of travel.
