Early Sunday morning, June 27 at approximately 1:00 a.m., Cobourg Police attended at the parking lot behind Victoria Hall.
The owners of a vehicle parked there had been at a social event at Victoria Hall and were approaching their vehicle to leave when they observed two men urinating all over their car.
Police arrived and arrested the two men for committing an indecent act. One accused aged 38 was from Cobourg, the other aged 18 was from Ottawa.
Both accused had been drinking at a local bar before the incident.
On Friday, June 25 at around 11:20 p.m., Cobourg Police arrested a 48 year old Cobourg woman at a local motel.
The investigation revealed that the accused was picked up by a taxi at the beer store and after a few stops around town, was dropped off at her motel.
She exited the taxi telling the driver she would go to her room and get the money she owed for the fare. She never came back out so police were called.
Once police were on scene, the accused said she had no money to pay for the taxi so she was arrested for transportation fraud.
Two Cobourg teens ages 15 and 16 are charged with robbery after an incident on Elgin Street, Monday evening June 21 around 10:30 p.m.
After receiving a call from a witness, police attended on Elgin Street near the intersection of Birchwood Trail.
A 17 year old male victim told police that he had been walking with the two accused teens that he knew. An argument ensued about some property the victim was carrying resulting in him being slammed to the ground. They were scared off when the witness stopped and called police.
One teen has been held for a bail hearing on a robbery charge and a warrant for the arrest of the second teen, for robbery, is being sought. One of them, the 15 year old, has also been charged with possessing a quantity of marijuana and breach of a probation order.
