Cobourg Police Services Board Members

Councillor J. William MacDonald (Bill)
Bill MacDonald is a long term resident of Cobourg and is a five term veteran of the Town of Cobourg Council. He looks forward to working with his fellow Board members to provide a strong leadership for the Police Services in Cobourg.
   
Councillor Stan Frost
Stan Frost is semi-retired and currently operates a successful Management Consulting practice in the Information Technology field. He and his wife Jane have been residents of Cobourg for 12 years. Stan has over 33 years of management experience with several major Canadian corporations. He has served on the Planning Advisory Committee for the Town of Cobourg and is a past member of the Board of Northumberland Big Sisters Big Brothers.

Mr. Greg Kay
Mr. Kay is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law and has conducted a general litigation practice in Cobourg since 1980. He has worked in the past as both a criminal defence counsel and a part-time Assistant Crown Attorney. He has been active in a number of community organizations, serving as a Director of Big Brothers, a Division Leader for the United Way and as President of the Kinsmen Club and the Cobourg Family YMCA.


Mr Bryan Baxter (Chair)
Mr Baxter is a retired professional having served many years as senior management in municipal administration. He also serves on other Boards of a professional nature and in pursuit of personal interests both in the local area and province wide. He is a devoted family man and resides in old Cobourg.

Mr. Scott Fraser (Vice Chair)
Mr Fraser originates from Ottawa, Ontario and has been living in Cobourg since 1982. Since 1987 he has been “bending the minds” of the Cobourg District Collegiate Institute West students and for the past 17 years has been an advisor to the Student’s Council and leadership training. Scott also extensively participates in basketball (referee), Cobourg Minor League Soccer, Garden Hill Lob Ball and golf, tennis and travel.
